e-SIM Cards - Future of SIM cards

So today we will be talking about the future of sim card's which are  or which will be known as E-sim . now a days  sim cards are one of the most important  part of our life, because we all live in  2k19 where everyone uses a smartphones and hence sim cards becomes the most important thing around us.

What is an eSIM? 

An eSIM is an electronic SIM card Also called as embedded sim ( E-sim) . As the name suggests, this E-sim  will replace the physical, plastic SIM card from all current smartphones. some smartphone like apple iphone xs & xs max  have this E-sim in it.  One of the benefits of an eSIM is that it’s absolutely tiny, just a small fraction the size of a nano SIM. This is what makes it so well-suited to ultra-compact gadgets like watches, which simply don’t have the room for a normal SIM . This eSIM technology is not new because it already came in watches ,because smartwatch are so small in size so there is not much space to fit a usual sim cards which we use hence eSIM were first use in watches . this technology is used in watches such as Samsung gear S3 and Apple watch series 3 .An eSIM is non-removable and sits by other internal components. So you don’t have to remove it.With such an embedded standard, the idea is that you can switch to a new operator without having to insert a specific SIM card. It’s all done through software.

Here’s why eSIMs are better for consumers:-

1) You’ll be able to change carriers without having to get a new SIM.which means that you can change carriers or your plans in phone's settings.

2)You don't have to deal with cutting your sim cards in nano & micro size any more.

3) With eSIMs and dual SIMS, you can have two plans from two different carriers. This means you can use one number for business and another number for personal calls.
